Frequency Work / Remote Acutherapy

Frequency Work / Remote Acutherapy

Offering Frequency Work / Remote Acutherapy was born out of the desire to continue to provide people with the healing, pain & stress relieving, body/mind balancing, and spirit/physical integrating benefits of acupuncture while being confined at home during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. During such a chaotic, uncertain, and stressful time, people needed more support, centering, self care, and integration work, not less!

In many ways, being forced to work online only was a good thing, as it enabled me to confront some deeply-held beliefs (distortions) around the nature of physical reality, and human health. In a sense it was a removal of the training wheels in my journey as a healer, so to speak. I no longer had the support of the physical tools of diagnosis (e.g. the ability to see a person’s whole body, feel their pulse, palpate their meridians, etc.) and treatment (e.g. acupuncture needles, cups, massage, etc.). This forced me to rely on my healing abilities that have grown as I’ve worked to clarify and raise my own frequency. Combining this with my knowledge of Chinese medicine, health and healing, I discovered that I am able to confer the same benefits of an in-office acupuncture treatment.

How does it work?

Coming from a holographic view of reality and the body, physical proximity isn’t required to affect healing, releasing, integration and transformation. With a foundation in meridian theory and both Chinese and Western medicine I am able to affect energetic changes without acupuncture needles. All of this can be done over the phone or via videoconference. I hold a high frequency and guide a person “into” their bodies. I then scan the body for any areas that are out of balance and need correcting by the body. This may sound far-fetched or incredible, but it’s really not and is supported by modern science. Modern physics and the study of quantum entanglement is beginning to shed some light on this interconnectivity and ability of physically distant atoms to affect one another. In fact we all have this ability to some degree. Because of this clients typically report very similar experiences and results to in-office treatments.

What to expect?

First we will discuss briefly what’s going on in your body and your life in general. I may ask some questions about various body systems or processes. Then we will proceed to the Frequency Work / Remote Acutherapy “treatment” part, which will begin with me bringing you into a deep meditative state. I may ask you to bring your attention to specific acupoints on the body, where I would place a needle if we were together in person. Or we may focus on specific anatomical structures or organ systems or visualize meridian pathways of the areas on the body where I would place an acupuncture needle if we were physically together in my office. Then I tune into the body and allow it to communicate to me any areas of imbalance so that they can be corrected. Essentially I scan through the body and find what areas are “asking” for attention or help, and then shine a light on them so the body can correct them.

Clients typically feel very relaxed and often doze off or drift in and out of consciousness in a sort of dream-like state. This is not important, and if you experience something different, that’s perfectly fine and normal as well. You may feel some sensations of tingling, achiness, pulsation, twiching, etc. at various parts of the body. This is completely normal and a good sign that the Qi or life force energy is beginning to flow more smoothly.

What people are saying

  • “The session was beyond any expectations. It’s really mesmerizing how a person with amazing abilities that Tim developed can apply the knowledge of the human body, meridians, frequency work virtually, from any distance and the patient would have a strong powerful session being in another city or country.
I was in a very vulnerable place regarding my physical condition at the time we started the session. The way the session was conducted allowed me to get into a relaxed state right away, it was very easy to trust the process. I felt the acupuncture points not even knowing where they are supposed to be located in the human body. I felt heat, pulsation, energy waves coming through the area Tim was describing and my whole body being at the same time in a completely relaxed state. I was present to the moment and time. I felt my organs being washed in beautiful energy and I saw them becoming shiny and healthy. I felt relaxed, rested and rejuvenated after the session. I’m really grateful to be treated by Tim and feel my best after the session.”

  • “My experience was wonderful! I was extremely relaxed afterwards and felt relief and release in areas that I had mentioned were stressed and tight. I believe I also felt an opening in the flow of energy throughout my body.  The mind is a powerful thing! Thank you again!”

    Joelle C., Los Angeles, USA

  • “Thank you so much for my session yesterday! I am what I’d describe as a healthy skeptic. The proof is in the pudding for me, if I can feel it, sense it and see it then I’m intrigued. Since a trusted friend recommend you, I felt okay giving it a go……..though nervous that I might not notice much and then let you down?/!! BUT, wow!!  I described myself as feeling wired to you, well I never really knew how wired until we finished the session, it was instant, there was for sure a complete calm in my body and then in my field and instead of running on this kind of frantic energy I could feel the contentment again, I was going around all night telling everybody I loved them!!!! Much calmer inside my body and in my field.

My skin hasn’t itched since our session, fingers crossed. It’s still red but not itchy, phew!! Still having hot flushes but the intensity isn’t so extreme, sometimes I could feel like I was about to pass out with them…….but today I had some and they were just a heat flush not heat tsunami……chuckle!! I did feel certain areas of my body when you were working on them. When you were working on the gallbladder area, I felt it contract and then a wave of nausea came over me, not intense just enough to bring my attention to it and breathe through it.

My heart and lung area, I know for sure that something stuck started to move again, I wanted to cough, it felt inflamed and today my chest area feels slightly inflamed but loose, more ease. I do feel there’s some deep stuff that has been held there and needs to be worked on more….

Definitely will recommend you and your work to friends, you have a VERY lovely way that you work, not once did I feel under pressure to respond, your energy felt lovely and neutral and I felt held by your field. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!”

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked online just like in-person acupuncture session, by clicking the Book An Appointment button at the top of the page and selecting “Frequency Work / Remote Acutherapy” as the service type. Please note that times listed are US Pacific time. If you are not on Pacific time, please convert to your local time zone.

How do I pay for a session?
Currently payment is made via Paypal or Venmo (@Timothy-Asher) unless other arrangements have been made. Send payments to tim@timothyasher.com. Please complete payment before the time of your appointment. Frequency Work / Remote Acutherapy sessions are $200, and last 60 minutes.

What if I fall asleep during the session?
It is perfectly fine to fall asleep or doze off. It’s also totally fine to be more alert during a session, or to alternate between alertness and sleepiness. Each person is different and their experience will be unique. If you do fall asleep, you are not receiving any less benefit from the treatment.

Do I need to prepare anything before a session?
No, not really. What you will need is a quiet and comfortable space where you can relax without interruptions or distractions. I typically recommend people lie down on a bed or a couch where they can stretch out and be completely comfortable. Also having a blanket handy is a good idea, as many people get cold during the stillness of the session. I also recommend silencing any smartphones or other devices.
