Today I want to share another great bitter tasting food with you: frisée. Frisée is a classic french bitter salad green served with heavier protein-based and/or fatty foods. You’ll remember from my recent posts about bitter tasting foods, that bitter foods are the ones that balance the sweet, salty, and fatty/greasy foods that are so prevalent in the western diet. Eating more bitter foods in general can also help temper cravings of salty and sweet foods. Try adding more of these into your diet and see how your health improves.
