Ways I’m Here to Support You During COVID-19

During this incredibly difficult time, one thing I have noticed is that part of the challenge comes from the loss of support structures and systems that help us deal with adversity. I understand that for many people, regular visits to my office are an important part of their mental and physical health. That is why I want to continue to support people as much as possible during this time. I also believe that now more than ever, people need the stress-relieving and immune-boosting benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine and alternative medicine in general. I hope that one good thing that could come out of this pandemic is a greater focus on health and wellness in general, and having these alternative therapies be a greater part of the larger healthcare conversation.

In-Office Acupuncture Treatments

As a healthcare worker I am still able to see patients in my office. Rest assured that my colleagues and I are taking every precaution to provide a safe and clean healing space. We are severely limiting the number of patients coming in, and disinfecting everything in between, and wearing masks and gloves when requested.

Normally I encourage people that are sick with colds and flus to come in for treatment, as it helps them get better more quickly. However in light of the current coronavirus outbreak, if you are experiencing symptoms of fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing, please stay home until you feel better. Consider trying a Remote Acutherapy session instead. If you’re otherwise healthy, and need some help in this intense time, I’d love to see you.

Online Herbal Formula Consults

To continue to enable patients to take advantage of the immune-boosting benefits of Chinese Herbal Medicine, I am offering online herbal consultations, with the ability for patients to pick up the herbs at my office. Patients can pay for the herbs online and pick them up without having to break social distancing.
