Get Good Sleep: Use Earplugs
Hello everyone! It’s Tim Asher, San Francisco-based acupuncturist and holistic healer, here with another episode of “What Works for Me.”
So continuing with my theme of getting good sleep, the foundation of good sleep is a safe, comfortable, dark, and quiet environment.
Now I live in a city, and even though my neighborhood is generally very quiet, especially by city standards, there are still plenty of things that make noise that could disturb my sleep. Neighbors, planes flying overhead, dogs barking, garbage trucks, all kinds of things. So I like to use earplugs to make the room quieter. It makes a huge difference for me. If you’re a light sleeper it can be especially helpful. It took me a little while to get used to them, but once I did, it has made for much better sleep, with far fewer interruptions. I hope you’ll give it a try some time and I thank you for watching.
