Another Great Bitter Food: Dandelion Greens
Today I want to share another great bitter tasting food with you: dandelion greens! These are intensely bitter, so be careful! As I mentioned last week, the bitter foods are the ones that balance the sweet, salty, and fatty/greasy foods that are so prevalent in the western diet. In Chinese medicine, dandelion goes to the Liver channel, and helps clear damp and heat. Eating more bitter foods in general can also help temper cravings of salty and sweet foods.
